![]() ![]() After three years or so of using it I took a break and came back to Wavebox. I've been using Wavebox since 2017 and I was a early supporter for Wavebox Pro. I noticed other apps like Shift or Rambox are slow or feel a little sluggish compared to this one. Another reason I prefer Wavebox is because it runs super smooth on my computer. All the other apps I've tried are limited in that functionality. There's so many things I can configure to make it exactly how I want it. The reason why I like it so much is that I can customize literally everything. I have tried many other Gmail wrapper apps like it and I always come back to Wavebox. I've been using this app since it was originally called "WMail". I am honestly not affiliated with Wavebox in any way, this is a genuine review from a happy user, because good software is something you should shout about. Yes it can be done in Chrome by switching profiles, but in Wavebox it's entirely seamless and automatic. That feature alone is worth the price of the subscription. And everything is kept completely isolated. My work uses G Suite, I run social media on behalf of someone, and I use Gmail personally. But to me, the crowning feature is the cookie containers. In actual fact, if my PC just booted up Wavebox, I could do 95% of my work just fine. You forget you're dealing with websites - it just feels like an OS in itself. With so many tools now online, you basically live in your browser and tabs are unwieldy, even with tab groups. Wavebox is one that is worth every damn penny of the subscription. There are some things that I hate paying for (looking at you Adobe), some I shrug and pay anyway, but few I actually like to pay for. I use a lot of software, I guess we all do these days between our phones, tablets and PCs. Good software is something you should shout about. So having a DIFFERENT program with only the essential Chrome extensions means you are not loading your web-developing extension code on.Gmail interface :) That means a lot of free memory, for free :) And the list goes on and on! ![]() So I can let them "sleep" and only activate them when I need them 3) Extensions and RAM -> If you are like me and you need a lot of different extensions to do your research and benchmarking and browsing.you know that EACH website adds up some RAM memory. I do not use ALL the 40 apps I added to wavebox on a daily basis. ![]() No more mixing browsing websites for research and apps! 2) Sleeping apps! -> You can "sleep" groups of apps with a single clic, thus freeing up a lot of ram memory. There are so many! 1) Evertything in one place -> I simply LOVE having all of my apps in the very same place. ![]() I know, you might say "I can simply bookmark my web apps and use them inside my browsers, what's the difference?". We all use so many software, platforms, apps.Having all of them neatly organized in a SINGLE app is much better. By the way, I downloaded Station and Shift to compare side by side and Wavebox was the clear winner. I am now trying to get my company to sign on so that everyone can benefit from it. I now do everything out of Wavebox (personal navigation included). It is incredibly easy to set up and configure. The interface is super intuitive and allows me to efficiently toggle between all of them during my daily workflow. What I love the most about Wavebox is how it declutters all of my important tabs and tools by compartmentalizing them in one place. I work in Software Sales and between my laptop and monitors, I am constantly navigating through a bunch of tabs and apps (my Gmail accounts, Calendar, Salesforce, Zoom, Google Chat, Google sheets, etc.) I am very organized and meticulous by nature. It's only a matter of time before Wavebox and tools like it become the standard for how people interact with their daily tabs, apps, and manage work flow. ![]()
